A developing literature review featuring samples of street design and policy outcomes since adopting the City's Transportation and Transit Master Plan in 2018, including selections from the first portion of the 2000s to provide further scope and reflections. I am omitting articles concerning Freeway 1 incidents through Abbotsford to focus on municipal roads, including conflicts with Ministry of Transportation & Infrastructure (MoTI) highways and roadways.

The City's Engineering & Regional Utilities Department removed the dedicated left turn signals in the early 2000s to prioritize the convenience of car movement over safety and economic development at this intersection and South Fraser Way and Gladwin. The intersection of South Fraserway and Ware was set up with infrastructure for dedicated left turn signals; however, the infrastructure was eventually removed before implementation.
